Redefining all visuals for Johan Gielen was no small task. Most of his imagery and color-usage was black and dark grey, which, at least to me, was the complete opposite of what I thought of when I thought of Johan Gielen. Bright, uplifting party-music calls for color and happiness.
Very early on in the process I designed a colorful 3D triangular look, that matches the digital aspect of the DJ/Producer. Working with this visual and the new blue color-scheme to go with it, I designed the website, social media pages, redesigned pictures and redefined the Johan Gielen brand, changing it from gloomy grey to uplifting.
